2016 Ottawa Sport Summit Agenda

On November 26, 2016, the Ottawa Sport Council will host its THIRD Annual Sport Summit, Engage, Inspire. Sustain. Creating your Volunteer Movement. The event was created to provide local community sport organizations with an opportunity to network, learn, and discuss relevant issues.

 Registration starts at 8:15, sessions will kick off at 8:45.

Engage, Inspire. Sustain. Creating your Volunteer Movement will  be will be co-hosted by Julien Leblanc, President of Blueprint Management Consultants North America, and Amanda Hauck, Communications Manager, Lockheed Martin Canada.

Summit speakers will include:

  • Michael Crockatt, President and CEO, Ottawa Tourism
  • Anna Wood and Jenny Grenville, Volunteer Services, Bluesfest and Cityfolk Festival

With consideration to your feedback, we’ve packed the day with as many learning and networking opportunities as possible—all designed to help you with volunteer engagement and sustainability.

Learn How to Create a Volunteer Movement- and celebrate a local success story. Discover What is happening in Sport in Ottawa in 2017. Understand How to Inspire and Sustain your Volunteer Movement. Participate in the sport themed trivia contest and win the opportunity to see the 2017 Canadian Tire National Skating Championships at TD Place, Ottawa.  Join in the roundtable discussion to learn from your peers. Participate in the Silent Auction to win great prizes including Club Bell Ottawa Senators Hockey Tickets, gift certificates for many local restaurants, fitness passes and much more.

The day will conclude at 4:15 p.m.
