Canadian Sport for Life (CS4L) is a national movement to improve the quality of sport and education in Canada. The movement recognizes all groups, including parents, coaches, athletes with disabilities, educators, health practitioners, recreation professionals, women and girls. The CS4L’s Long Term Athlete Development (LTAD) framework is a seven-stage training, competition and recovery pathway guiding an individual’s experience in sport from infancy through all phases of adulthood. CS4L and LTAD represent a seismic shift in the way Canadians approach sport and physical activity. |
