2023 Ottawa Sport Summit Agenda
Registration begins at 8:00 AM, session will kick off at 8:30 AM.
On Saturday, November 18, 2023, the Ottawa Sport Council will host the ninth annual Ottawa Sport Summit – The Past, Present, and Future of Community Sport in Ottawa. The sport summit has been designed to celebrate the successes of our sector in the last decade, host discussion sessions regarding current challenges, and present an opportunity for innovation as we look to the future.
Facilitated by Ottawa Sport Council Board Members, and community sport leaders, Eric McLoughlin and Jennifer Dumoulin, the sport summit will use a facilitated workshop format designed to take participants on a journey to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Ottawa Sport Council, discuss the current state of community sport in Ottawa, and dive into the future with innovative minds.
As part of the journey, we will hear from local business leader, and former Ottawa Sport Council Board Member, Julien Leblanc (blueprint North America), as he gives participants a glimpse into potential applications of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies in community sport. Julien is a growth strategist and “serial entrepreneur”, who is a long-time supporter of community sport.
With consideration of the successes of past Sport Summits, we’ve developed an agenda which will provide you with learning and networking opportunities.
