Proposed adjustments for groups renting City gymnasiums
On behalf of the City of Ottawa, please find below a message regarding updating categories for gymnasium rentals and an invitation to an information session co-hosted with the Ottawa Sport Council.
Dear associations and rental clients,
The City of Ottawa’s gymnasiums are important spaces for our communities. Groups that use our gymnasiums provide an array of programming that fosters learning, physical activity and socialization.
The City of Ottawa are planning to update categories to improve use of City of Ottawa gymnasiums. The updated categories enhance clarity, support community activities, optimize facility use during lower demand periods, and align with the City’s rental models used for other recreational amenities. Price levels will remain similar to the current levels and the adjustments do not affect the process for allocation of gym times.
