The Ottawa Rowing Club will be open to the public this Saturday, June 6th from 10am to 4pm for Doors Open Ottawa. This is an opportunity for the public to tour Canada’s oldest rowing club, established in 1867, and one of Canada’s largest clubs and to get on the water in a rowing shell. The ORC consists of two boathouses – one is our original boathouse built in 1867 and the second is a larger boathouse that stores our fleet of rowing shells. In addition to touring the boathouses, people can get out on the water in a rowing shell and learn about the sport of rowing.
