Information

The Ottawa Sport Council is excited to announce another opportunity for Ottawa based community sport organizations to discuss strategic planning in the pandemic environment. This lunchtime workshop will be offered virtually, via Zoom, for all participants on two separate dates: March 23 and 24, 2001.

The Strategic Planning Huddle is the next installment of the Ottawa Sport Council’s 2021 Rebound program.  This free 6-part program is being offered with the support of the Ontario Trillium Foundation’s Resilient Communities Fund.

Strategic Planning Huddle – Helping Community Sport Rebound

In February and early March, we hosted our first Chalk Talk in the Rebound series which focused on strategic planning and was facilitated by local business leader Julien Leblanc. The full-day workshops were very well received.

We are now offering an opportunity for community sport organizations to gather around the virtual table and learn from each other. The Strategic Planning Huddle complements the Strategic Planning Chalk Talks held earlier this year. During the Strategic Planning Huddle, we will discuss the successes and the challenges that organizations may have experienced in developing a strategic plan!

  • Who can attend? Community sport organizations in Ottawa
  • What can you expect during the Huddle? An inviting conversation among peers about how strategic planning can assist in pandemic recovery.
  • What if I didn’t attend the Chalk Talk? Attending the Chalk Talk is not a requirement to attend the Huddle on March 23 or 24. The Huddle is an open conversation about strategic planning, where all are welcome!

Registration:

Our goal for the Strategic Planning Huddle is to enable open conversation among participants. To ensure everyone has the opportunity to share their experiences, registration will be limited to 20 participants. The Huddle will be conducted via Zoom meeting with use of breakout rooms, open discussion, and other virtual meeting tools.

This is a free virtual event. The same 2-hour workshop will be offered on 2 separate dates. Please register for 1 of the 2 available dates.
