500 athletes with an intellectual disability will participate in the Provincial Floor Hockey Championships at Carleton University. This event is a National qualifier.
Athletes will come from all over Ontario to compete and experience the nations capitol. Chief Charles Bordeleau, from the Ottawa Police Services, and Jeff Hunt, President of OSEG are the Co-Chairs of this tournament. Everyone in the Ottawa and Gatineau community are welcome to attend the opening and closing ceremonies, as well as the exciting games themselves. A call out for 400 volunteers will begin n the fall of 2014. Experience the joy of sport, as these athletes strive for excellence.
