Ottawa’s community sport sector has always been active, dedicated and resilient. 2026 brings new insights and opportunities and the Ottawa Sport Council (OSC) is aiming to connect with community sport organizations to learn about how we can most effectively champion your efforts.
The OSC is currently setting our 2027-2029 Strategic Direction and we need your valuable input to help us build the right tools, resources and supports – aiming to remove barriers for the community sport sector to do what they do best – make sport possible for our city.
We want to know what you need from the OSC as your community sport sector leader and advocate.
– Should we focus more on securing infrastructure and facility access?
– Do you need more specialized governance training and safe sport implementation support?
– How can the OSC better connect your club with the resources needed to reduce barriers for equity-deserving populations?
The results of this survey will be used to draft the OSC’s new mandate and purpose, which will be unveiled at the 2026 Ottawa Sport Summit – date to be announced shortly
